The learning material and contents provided by the AltanaESP Network & System, frequently make use of terms and concepts that aren't all that familiar to most people. This glossary - AltanaESP Terms and Concepts - is a collection of the constructs (i.e. words, terms & concepts) often used in AltanaESP materials and content. This glossary act as a source of reference to enhance the contextual meaning and understanding of these "odd" terms and concepts. Words and/or phrases hold different meanings for each person. Therefore, it is a sensible idea to "define" the constructs used and to "place every body on the same page" when dealing with such constructs. You, the reader - most likely - have quite a different definition for, understanding of or perspective regarding such constructs... and that is fine! However, within the Altana... Electronic Support Platform (i.e. Network and System), the various terms, concepts and implications are quite specific and contextual.

Therefore, each word, term or concept - included in this glossary - serve as a "resources tool" to promote understanding and context when dealing with or exploring AltanaESP materials and contents.

KISS is the abbreviation of Keep It Simple and Straightforward; which actually implies to keep it simple stupid and not to complicate matters unnecessarily!

However, KISS - as with most concepts - depends on our perspectives and views in life, because from a certain perspective and equally as true, KISS could mean...
  1. Keep It Simple and Straightforward.
  2. Keep It Simple Stupid.
  3. A wholesome act of smooching.
  4. Knights In Service of Satan.
Innocent KISS in itself could give raise to cognitive dissonance and it might be a confusing abbreviation when we fail to apply our common sense to determine what we should actually believe.

KPA's, the abbreviation for Key Performance Areas, are important, essential or key functional, operational and life areas that could either positively (i.e. productively) or negatively (i.e. unproductively) impact on our efforts to successfully obtain objectives and achieve our goals.

Identifying and compiling a KPA list isn't a thumb sucking exercise, as in the case of many "I think so..." or "If you say so..." or "I guess so..." or "I read somewhere that..." oriented people, which - in the end - frequently result in the domino effect.

Identifying and compiling a reliable, authentic, valid and truly workable KPA list required much effort, ample time and some money. KPA's must be "researched" (commencing with a SWOT-analysis), verified (against a vision statement and mission statement) to determine a responsible KPA management strategy that would limit, minimize or avoid negative influences (i.e. SWOT analysis threats) and expand, maximize or encourage positive influences (i.e. SWOT-analysis opportunities).

A responsible KPA management strategy will, eventually, allow for manifesting of potential (i.e. SWOT-analysis strengths) and to deal with "Achilles heels" in a healthy and balanced manner (i.e. SWOT-analysis weaknesses).

Key KPAs allows us to responsibly and accountably execute our LDP, CPD, PLP and SDS to establish an authentic level of specialized knowledge.
KPA's allows us to keep our ducks in a row and hit the self-development target each an every time.

Kundalini Energy is our basic life force that lifts the energy flow of our bio-computer and also drag our mind's level of awareness along. Kundalini energy is an energy of spiritual evolution, growth and consciousness (i.e. open-mind that leads to higher levels of awareness and consciousness), unfortunately it is often incorrectly perceived as merely sexual energy.

Our kundalini is dominant energies that can be pictured as a dormant power cell at our root chakra energy vortex that - once awakened - rises up surely and steadily through our energy vortexes and transforms all in its path. Kundalini can be regarded as "ENERGY IN POTENTIAL". Through mental/spiritual exercises such as a mantras, prayers and meditation this energy can be awaken to move up to higher and more transcendental or spiritual levels of awareness.

The "kundalini rising" process begins gradually and proceeds through many years. This higher consciousness (our awareness) can also be awakened, when we are deeply moved by music, inspired by a poem or experience true love for another person. This partial manifestation is still only the "smoke". The "fire" of kundalini energy is quite different and much more intense. When there is energy blockage, a crisis with our consciousness (awareness) develops. However, when in equilibrium, kundalini energy can spur us into unbelievable action... BUT it can also burn us to ashes, when we don't work on important dualities, dissonances and issues that curb opening-up our minds, fuel or psyche wounds and even lower our levels of awareness, destroy our potential and/or stunt our personal growth.

Key We should treat our kundalini energies similar to the way in which we should treat fire. Being to far away from the fire, place us out there in the cold and we freeze. Being to close to the fire, can burn us to ashes. Once again, let balance prevail.

Eventually our kundalini energy reach our crown chakra energy vortex; when that happens, a cosmic consciousness and awareness is achieved which transforms into the manifestations...
  • of healing abilities, for ourselves and other people.
  • that our levels of awareness increase, so that answers to deep spiritual mysteries become quite obvious and understandable.
  • of interconnectedness with all forms of life become a "knowing"; instead of remaining a mere theoretical or academic concept.
  • that we see the infinite results of our every action and every thought.
The impact and influence of our kundalini energy on our energy vortexes (i.e. chakra energy system), can briefly be indicated as follows...
  • 1st:- Root chakra (earth - resting place of kundalini) and the vibe is characterize by survival & primal energies.
  • 2nd:- Sacral chakra (water - flowing of kundalini) and the vibe is characterized by sexuality, feeling secure and safe energies.
  • 3rd:- Solar Plexus chakra (metal - strength of the kundalini) and the vibe is characterized by will and personal power.
  • 4th:- Heart chakra (fire - intensity of the kundalini) and the vibe is characterized giving and receiving love and being part of a group (i.e. the seat of our emotions and feelings).
  • 5th:- Throat chakra (wood - growth of the kundalini) and the vibe is characterized by communication, appreciation and being useful or valuable.
  • 6th:- Brow chakra (central meridian - yin of kundalini) and the vibe is characterized by insight, understanding and nourishing energies.
  • 7th:- Crown chakra (governing meridian - yang of kundalini) and the vibe is characterized by transcendence, service to others and expelling energies that "remove" from our energy system that which is no longer nourishing it.
