The learning material and contents provided by the AltanaESP Network & System, frequently make use of terms and concepts that aren't all that familiar to most people. This glossary - AltanaESP Terms and Concepts - is a collection of the constructs (i.e. words, terms & concepts) often used in AltanaESP materials and content. This glossary act as a source of reference to enhance the contextual meaning and understanding of these "odd" terms and concepts. Words and/or phrases hold different meanings for each person. Therefore, it is a sensible idea to "define" the constructs used and to "place every body on the same page" when dealing with such constructs. You, the reader - most likely - have quite a different definition for, understanding of or perspective regarding such constructs... and that is fine! However, within the Altana... Electronic Support Platform (i.e. Network and System), the various terms, concepts and implications are quite specific and contextual.

Therefore, each word, term or concept - included in this glossary - serve as a "resources tool" to promote understanding and context when dealing with or exploring AltanaESP materials and contents.

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life, as by the obstacles that one has overcome while trying to succeed - Bookert T. Washington.

Psyche Management focus on how efficiently we can deal or cope with our own feelings and emotions (popularly known as emotional maturity or EQ) to effectively deal with or handle the many up's and down's of everyday living. Psyche management guides, directs and control our emotion, our willpower and the power of our minds or our mental powers (i.e. our conative actions).

Psyche management lies at the very root of the application of our coping skills, which is primarily focused on higher-self attributes and the honest and true nature of our spirituality.

The two most important truths - frequently surfacing in many ancient documents and "holy" scriptures throughout human history - and which is the basic platform of psyche management; are...
  1. Our own words have more power to affect us than anybody else's. Ultimately it's not what others say that counts in the end; it's what we say to ourselves, after others get through talking! We always have the last word. Well... actually the last thought. Especially at night, when we are lying alone in bed awaiting the bliss of a peaceful sleep.
  2. We'll never enjoy what our Creator has install for us in the future, while we're still living in the past. To enter the "promised utopia" (the higher self), we must first leave the wilderness (the lower self). So humbly come into accord with the Almighty Creator of the universe and begin to say what He says about us.
This is no small matter. What we say from the time we get up in the morning, until we go to bed at night... not only influences our day, it influences our entire outlook and direction of our lives. In other words... get in harmony with the Creator. We are His reflection on this planet; so we must be extremely mindful of our thoughts and be very, very careful what we allow to come out of our mouths. Fault-finding, being judgemental and negativity destroys and tears down; but compassion and faith-filled words opens the door for the many blessings that all of creation has to offer and evoke loving hope for "drowning hearts".

Psyche management targets and focus on the following areas of our umwelt...
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Management: Many of the tasks we face each day in both our personal and professional lives are quite complex in nature. The skills of problem identification (observation and listening), to research solutions (determine options, identify possibilities, estimate probabilities) and take effective decisions (prioritize and execute... thus, to ACT!).
  • Career/Life Management: Today, many aspects and plenty of changes... confuse, restrict or blur our future horizon and our outlook on life becomes pessimistic (often labelled as being of sound mind and realistic) - because modern day perceptions are business directed (profits, processes and price tags) and are dreamer unfriendly (experience life and climate). To re-establish a focus (destiny, meaning and purpose) in life, to regain control over one’s life (i.e. to re-evoke existing self-empowerment principles). The primary aim is to encourage an individual to actively start daydreaming again (a believer in his/her own hopes and expectations).
  • Interaction Management: All most, all events or situations require that more than one person is needed to deal with problems, and productive solutions depend on how efficiently people interact with one other. Often, the success of solving a dilemma, is determined by how well we can work together (i.e. cooperate and co-create), when seeking a solution to a problem at hand.
  • Computer/Technological Management: A background and understanding how to harness the power of technology to meet the specific needs of a particular situation or event; can dramatically increase an individual’s efficiency to deal with day to day demands.
  • Learning/Teaching/Training Management: Our modern society develops, generates, collects and publishes more new data (information and different perspectives) in a day, than our ancestors did in a century. Therefore the principles of life long learning, learning through implementation and cooperative learning should form the basis on which all learning (mastering, understanding and insight) should be based.
  • Reading, Science and Numeric Management: Today, basic competencies are much more important than some time ago. Once we lack some basic reading, science (social and natural) and numeric competencies and/or understanding, we would be unable to function efficiently in modern times, or at the very least find it awfully difficult to adhere to expected requirements.
  • Survival/Prosperity Management: With people enjoying a longer life span, more comfort and time saving devices; it's essential today to carefully plan one's life strategy to ensure a comfortable life and eventual "retirement" (proactive survival). If this is not done purposefully and continuously, we could - quite easily - end-up in a rat race, storming through life from one crisis to the next (i.e. reactive survival).
  • Information Management: In the age of information, humans now produce information as the basis of our economic system, and individuals who possess the ability to manage information are critical to most situations, events and businesses. We need the competency to collect, monitor, evaluate, process and digest information efficiently in order to reach a suitable conclusion relevant for the particular circumstances and in context of the environment.
  • Cultural Management: Today we depend upon many nations for cooperation, raw materials, expertise and goods, as well as for global markets for our own goods and services. The ability to deal with, understand (speak their language) and respect the rich variety of human cultures, gives us the ability to interact with people in a variety of situation more successfully (NB... starting in our own country, is frequently more productive than focusing on another country).
  • Business Management: Understanding of how to run our lives and a successful company (e.g. independent business units) is highly recommended. At the core of these skills is the ability to manage time, people, systems, resources, finances, to understand the needs of people and how to translate those needs into opportunities and/or services.
Psyche Management isn't a once off process, it is continious life-long process.
