:
Ego is the “I” or self of any person. Implying that an individual is thinking, feeling, willing and which distinguishing itself from the selves of others. Our ego is the psychic apparatus (inclusive of our environmental noise filter) that experiences, reacts or respond to the outside world and mediates between our personal drives and the demands of the social and physical environment.

The EGO is central to our umwelt and when our ego isn't in equilibrium with reality as we experience it, it establish and maintain mind defences that could be nourishing when driven by the daffodil principle and eagle lessons, but toxic and addictive when driven by the "Traps of Life".

Functionality of ego, when out of context, often results in plenty of psyche stresses.
