Our daily lives consist of many environments... a family environment, the school environment, our place of work, training, religion, ...etc. When using the concept environment; it implies the operational and functional areas of our life in which we need to interact, develop, establish and sustain harmonious relationships; allowing us to sustain a meaningful and purposeful life. Environments is the "place" (i.e. a specific time and space) in which we - by choice - might deliver our contribution to make life just a bit more bearable - for ourselves and those around us - than it was before. sad Sadly though, the opposite is also possible, we might deliver - also by choice - a contribution to our present environment that might make thing quite unbearable for those around us.

However, things isn't always as simple as it may appear at first glance. When we want to establish, obtain and maintain a harmonious environmental fit, the eventual "harmony" of our interactions not only depends on the "power of now"; but also on the "health" of our personal umwelt. Thus, in the NOW everything may seem to be "working" fine, but our umwelt (i.e. our beliefs, points of view, perspectives, attitudes, mindset, unconscious motives, feelings, emotions, experiences, ...etc) impact on "our present reality", which can either enhance, prevent or demolish productive interactions and a harmonious environmental fit.

Key Different environments require different responses from us, as "dictated" by the context of that particular environment to sustain a harmonious environmental fit and maintain a healthy balance in live (i.e. to efficiently seize the moment).

The teaching methodology of primary school learners should focus on mastering basic learning skills (e.g. reading, writing and arithmetic), rather than focusing on developing expert mathematical abilities, as the case would be with secondary school learners. Which in turn, would also differ significantly from a learning environment on a college or university level.
